Monthly Timesheet Summary Report by Project

This document provides a comprehensive overview of how to access and interpret the Monthly Timesheet Summary reports within the OfficeSeries application. These reports offer insights into the total hours logged per project, broken down by month.

A step-by-step guide to accessing and understanding the project timesheet monthly summary report in OfficeSeries

Step 1: Accessing monthly summary reports

  • Sign in to the OfficeSeries application.
  • Navigate to the "Timesheets" section from the dashboard or through the navigation menu.
  • Locate the "Timesheet Reporting" card within the Timesheets section.
  • Click on "View Report" on the card to access the reporting options.
  • From the available options, select "Monthly Summary by Project" to proceed with generating the report.

Step 2: Selecting the month for the report

  • The Monthly Timesheet Summary page allows users to select the month for which they want to generate the report.
  • Users can choose from predefined options such as "This Month", "Last Month", "Last 3 Months", and "Last 6 Months" or select a custom date range using the date pickers.

Step 3: Generating the report

  • Selecting the desired month or date range automatically generates the report.
  • The report will display a list of projects with the total hours logged for each project within the selected month or date range.

Step 4: Reviewing the report

  • The generated report will include the following details for each project:
    • Month/Year: The month and year of the report.
    • Activity: The name of the project or activity.
    • Total Hours: The total hours logged for the project within the selected month.
  • Review the report on-screen to gain insights into project hours and work distribution.

Step 5: Exporting the report

  • After reviewing the report, you have the option to export it for further analysis or record-keeping.
  • Look for the "Export" or "Download" button on the report page.
  • Select the desired format for the export (e.g., PDF, Excel, CSV) and proceed to download the report.
